its a boy

So, I’ve been quite quiet on the blogging front – there’s a lot of news that I’m wanting to share with you with new ideas and dreams in the pipeline. But first up…

It’s a Boy!

The most exciting news that I have to share is that we’re having a baby. It’s all a lot to think through and there’s so much that needs to happen. I’m feeling incredibly grateful for this this journey, to be surrounded by loving family and friends and to be living the adventure with my best friend is more than I could have hoped for.

Letting Go and Living It Up

Second, and it follows on from the first, is I’m re-looking at my blogging. It’s something that I love and have had so much fun with – especially meeting the lovely blogger and PR folks, as well as having the freedom to share things that I enjoy. But for the last year or so I feel like it’s time for a change. With that in mind, Cape Town Insider is going to be re-imagined, I’m almost there with the new website design and layout and in the next few weeks I’m hoping that it will all be up and running!

Cape Town Insider And Friends

Thirdly, as the blog has grown and more opportunities have come up, I’ve had to think about where I want the blog to go. Blogging is a dynamic process and with that in mind I’m going to be joined by a couple of new faces covering Lifestyle, Beauty and Travel (I’ll introduce them all at a later stage.)

I am also looking forward to having more space to write about more of my personal journey – but I’ll save that for another post.

Bella Italia

Oh, and lastly, if you’re looking for me in May, I might take a while to respond because I’ll be babymooning in Italy! It was a bit of a last minute decision, we booked tickets on Wednesday and we leave today! It’s been 5 years since we were last there and I can’t wait.

I hope you enjoy the new journey that we’re on.
