Benguela Cove Pinot Noir 2015

Wine Year
2015
Wine Region

Pinot Noir, aptly known as the heartbreak grape by winemakers, is difficult to cultivate and vinify. Our Pinot Noir leans toward the softer, elegant style of its class; with predominant red fruit flavours and multiple layers of spice, tobacco leaf and dark chocolate following.

Wine Characteristics
Cape Town Insider Wine

Cherry, boiled sweets and tobacco leaf aromas form the backbone
of the 2015 vintage, whilst hints of spice and forest floor can be
detected. The palate shows a suave elegance, neatly framed
by polished tannins. Good balance and graceful poise are
amply exhibited, with light layers of plum and dark chocolate
following through on the finish.

Anyone who enjoys good wine

This beautiful wine promises to be elegantly enjoyable now but will also become more voluptuous with maturation.

Cape Town Insiders’ Review Of The Wine

This is one cool, sophisticated customer! We loved the soft, elegant style of the wine with it’s red fruit notes and spicy finish. I served the wine slightly chilled making it a great alternative to traditional red wine varietals for summer evenings.
