Jordan Outlier Sauvignon Blanc
Jordan Outlier is a barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc. The wine spent 8 months “sur lie” with occasional “batonage” to accentuate the leesy character. 50% tank-fermented sauvignon blanc was added to the blend.
Barrel-fermented dimension adds additional depth and complexity whilst retaining the linear qualities associated with grapes planted on south-east facing aspects. A dense portrayal of sun-kissed tropical fruits, a true ‘outlier’.
Total Acid: 5.8g/l
Residual Sugar: 2.4g/l
It’s dense portrayal of sun-kissed tropical fruits. Perfectly pair with barrel-smoked tuna and miso-charred aubergine.

Cape Town Insiders’ Review Of The Wine
This is the classiest Sauvignon Blanc that I have had in a long time. The bottle’s elegant branding gives a hint of the exquisite wine inside. Barrel fermentation gives this wine added depth and character that one would not usually associate with Sauvignons and the tropical fruit notes finish the wine off perfectly.
