To fully enjoy this wine we recommend serving it 10-12C as a sundowner wine, but it also pairs really well with various dishes; from Sushi, to salads and even spicy soups. This wine can be cellared and enjoyed until 2019, but even a little older this wine will reward you with a surprisingly fresh palate.

This wine shows aromas of white blossoms, melon and peaches together with a fresh and vibrant palate. It has a
beautiful lingering mouth-feel and slight texture

Like to have a glass with lunch or by the pool? This wine is for you. Light and approachable, easily enjoyed by the connoisseur or novice.

Harvested at a lower sugar our unoaked Chardonnay has aromas of green citrus, subtle notes of white blossoms and hints of greenery. The palate is fresh, crisp, understated and a lower alcohol too.

Cape Town Insiders’ Review Of The Wine

I expected that the unoaked Chardonnay would be a bit of a letdown after trying their delicious oaked Chardonnay, but I was wrong, the unoaked is completely different to the oaked one, but easily as good. 7Springs suggests serving this wine as a ‘sundowner’ wine and I think that’s an excellent suggestion. It’s fresh and deliciously fruity with a very light butteryness and definitely a favourite for the summer!
