Malbec is THE trendy wine in London restaurants and in 2016 was the fastest growing red varietal in the UK. Malbec is a lovely juicy grape … normally dark in colour (it is known as the black grape of Cahors!) and goes so well with meat dishes.

Cape Town Insider’s Review

This Malbec is one of my stand out favourites of the last while. It’s how I image a flamenco dancer would be if she were a wine: elegant, refined, expressive and voluptuous. It’s not a wine that I would share easily – even my husband had to ask very nicely for a taste. I love the Malbec grape and there are very few single varietal Malbec wines on the market so this one really is something special.

Withington Malbec

This wine is beautifully made with juicy sappy and well balanced flavours. It pairs so well with meat dishes from biltong to braised leg of lamb.

Lightly wooded to support the earthy flavours with soft tannins and well a balanced structure.
RS: 1.9 g/l
Alc: 14%

Trendy foodies and wine lovers

“This elegant wine is bright and well balanced, with a touch of earth and tannins. It is easy to enjoy right now, especially with juicy braised meats.”
