Born out of a passion for writing and enjoyable experiences, Cape Town Insider is a lifestyle blog edited by sisters Kath and Meg. CTI is a collection of the things, places, and occasions we love. We primarily blog about products or brands we've tested ourselves, as well as launches and events we attend. We love new opportunities and are always up for a thrill!
WHY CAPE TOWN INSIDER?
Cape Town Insider was founded in 2011 by me, Kath Read. As the unofficial go-to person to recommend excellent restaurants, advise on the best product to use, or be in the know about what’s new on the scene, I knew I had to share my passions with more than just my friends and family. The rest of the world deserved to be in on these secrets, too!
So in celebration of all things Cape Town, I got to work and built this amazing resource you’ve got in front of you today.

I was on to something when I started CIT, because it grew so much that I eventually needed a partner to help. The right person had to be as passionate about Cape Town and social media as me. Fortunately, it wasn’t hard to find that person: I knew my sister Meg was perfect for the role.
